Intermittent Catheters
Intermittent catheters are available in a variety of materials including silicone, red rubber and silicone-free and come in various lengths and French sizes.
Coude Intermittent Catheters
Coude intermittent catheters have a slightly tapered or curved tip making it easier to insert. These catheters can protect against scarring and damage.
Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheters
Hydrophilic catheters have a special coating that becomes slippery when exposed to water. Some catheters come packaged with their own sterile water. These hydrophilic catheters are also available in closed-system kits.
Closed-System Kits
Closed-system intermittent catheter systems are designed to help make sterile voiding possible. These systems are available with or without insertion supplies (gloves, sterile drapes and prep pads). Closed-system kits are available with non-latex products as well.
Pediatric Latex-Free Catheters
Pediatric latex-free catheters are available in straight intermittent, hydrophilic and coude catheters.
Male External Catheters/Condom Catheters
Male external catheters/condom catheters are available in various sizes and materials including latex, plastic and silicone. Male catheters are also available with various straps or adhesives for secure placement.
Foley Catheters
Foley catheters, also called in-dwelling catheters, are available in latex with silicone coatings or all silicone. They are designed to remain in place for 30 days.
Leg Bags
Leg bags, generally made of soft vinyl or latex, come in a variety of sizes and drainage options. Most have a valve to prevent reflux.
Drain Bags
Drain bags usually connect to Foley catheters and can also be connected to male external catheters.
